- The Ichirin chair expresses simplicity at its highest level, almost like a monochrome—reduced to its essential form while maintaining depth, comfort, and presence, akin to the Japanese concept of “hitoe,” a single layer that is both simple and complete.
Each element is precisely considered down to the millimeter—echoing “ichirin,” a Japanese notion of an extremely fine measure (roughly 0.3 mm)—where proportions, curvature, structure, and footprint are carefully balanced to achieve both elegance and function.
